Q

How do I get Portrait Professional Studio to work as a plug-in to Lightroom 2?

A In Lightroom 2 on Windows go to the Edit menu, or for the Mac choose Lightroom menu instead. Now choose Preferences.
A dialog will appear, and under the section "Additional External Editor" change the file format to be TIFF, color space to be sRGB, compression LZW, and the other settings can be chosen as you wish. Now press the "Choose" button on the right for choosing the application. A new dialog will pop up asking for the location of the program to run, and PortraitProfessionalStudio should now be selected on your disk.
For Windows the location is usually in "C:\Program Files\Portrait Professional Studio 9\" or if you have a 64 bit Windows installed it is normally "C:\Program Files (x86)\Portrait Professional Studio 9\", Try pasting in these directories if you are not sure. For Mac, this is usually in "/Applications/PortraitProfessionalStudio.app".
When you have found Portrait Professional Studio select it and press the Choose button. Press the OK button to dismiss the panel. Now Portrait Professional Studio 9 is set up as an external editor for your images. You can now select a picture in your library, right click and choose "Edit in" and then "Edit in PortraitProfessionalStudio".
