We put a lot of effort into version 8, three man-years in fact. This work involved a complete re-write of the interface to improve it using all of our experience in previous versions of the software, and extensive user-group testing. While doing this, in response to demand, we also designed the interface to be compatible with the Mac. Since so much work went into this we have to charge for the upgrade from previous versions to version 8, but at a discount from the full price. You can upgrade from previous versions using "check for updates" in the help menu or using our License Manager.
