Creating a Preset in PortraitPro is something that we’ve mentioned a lot as it’s a great time saving technique. But have you thought about just how easy it really is? PortraitPro is specifically designed to save professional photographers time.

It incorporates many great features which will help with this. PortraitPro comes with many preloaded presets, which offer great looks that you may well want to use. But if you have a specific style that you want to use every time, or there is something that you just haven’t quite got the way you want in the preloaded Presets, you can create your own.

Create your own portrait editing preset

  • Open an image.
  • Make your usual adjustments.
  • Click Save Preset
  • Choose which sliders should be saved to your Preset
  • Choose a name for your preset and click 'OK'

If you like, you can also choose to save your preset as your default for Male, Female or both. Now, when you open any image these settings will be automatically applied.  Creating your own preset is even more useful when you're using our brand new Automatic Batch Mode, available in PortraitPro Studio Max.

The Automatic Batch Mode applies your chosen preset to all of the images in a batch automatically, so that you can edit a whole photo shoot worth of images in just a few minutes.

Whether it’s for a studio session with a high school senior, or a fashion shoot, or just a day out with the camera, it’s great to know that PortraitPro can save you lots of time; leaving you free to take more pictures, and spend less time on portrait retouching.

You can also add creative effects to your images with Smart Photo Editor. When you’ve created your unique effects in Smart Photo Editor, you can tag them and share them with the Smart Photo Editor community.
