There have been many fantastic improvements in version 12, and one of the most significant changes is the ability to process more than one image at a time.
In the previous version, there was a batch dialog to help speed up processing images, but now in PortraitPro Studio Max 12, there is a great, new feature to take the software into full batch processing mode.
The full batch mode is only available in PortraitPro Studio Max 12, and it’s a huge time saver for professional photographers who may have hundreds of images to process from one photo shoot, wedding, or other event.
Professional photographers who shoot seniors, prom, and graduation portraits will find the batch mode a great addition to their professional workflow. When you create a preset in PortraitPro, you can save it to be used again on any image.
If you have specific, subtle changes that you want to carry out on all your seniors’ portraits, then you can save this as a preset to be used again.
When you open a batch of images, for instance from a senior’s portrait session, you will get a dialog box where you can choose your ‘Auto Batch Save Options’. Under ‘Apply Presets’ you can choose your favorite seniors preset that you have previously created, and the software will automatically apply it to all faces in the batch.
You could even have a different preset for male seniors and female seniors, and as the software detects whether the face is male or female, then it will apply the appropriate preset you specified.
You may then want to go back through your images to make further tweaks to individual images, but the biggest part of the photo editing process is already done for you by the batch processing mode.
If by now you’ve taken your senior’s portraits, but have yet to send them out to your graduating seniors, then you still have time to carry out some fast and easy portrait editing.
However, if you only want to process a few images at a time, then PortraitPro Studio 12 will suit your needs. It also functions as a Photoshop plugin, and will greatly speed up your workflow in processing images.
If you want to process one image at a time, and have no need for a Photoshop plugin, then you will find PortraitPro 12 the most suitable for your needs.
