RE: Version 10
I've paid for, downloaded and installed the full version 10.0 - entered the token and activated but when I open the programme it still shows the Trial version and the "buy now" button on the GUI ! Should I have uninstalled the Trial version first Admin (Tony) ?
False alarm !! The Trial installed to Program Files (x86)\Portrait Professional 10 Trial and the full version's installed in Program Files (x86)\Portrait Professional 10. Is it x64 compatible ? My Windows 7 is x64 and all other x64 bit software doesn't install to the (x86) tree it installs to Program Files\ !! |

RE: Version 10
Short answer: yes, Portrait Professional is compatible with 64 bit windows.
Long answer: We sell 3 different versions of Portrait Professional Portrait Professional: a 32 bit app that will work with both 32 bit windows and 64 bit windows. Portrait Professional Studio: a 32 bit app that will work with both 32 bit windows and 64 bit windows. Portrait Professional Studio 64: a 64 bit app that will only work with 64 bit windows, which is intended for users with large images. You can find more information about Portrait Professional Studio on http://portraitprofessionalstudio.com. |

RE: Version 10
I am going to copy a post from the thread I just started. I would really like to be able to use the software, please.
Quote:I am *not* a happy camper right now. First of all, I received several emails telling me how LUCKY I was to be eligible for the free v.10 upgrade only to find that I had to pay for it. Yay me. No biggie - were I not to get this message. I am an instant gratification kind of a gal, so add that to paying to a product that I had been being emailed about for months that should have been free (according to all the emails), and well, I am quite irritated. Here is the message: |

RE: Version 10
I'm a bit frustrated by this upgrade process. I'm trying to get a link to the upgrade I purchased as stated in my transaction receipt (You will then be given a new token and a link to download the upgraded software) but when following the instructions, I have had no luck.
Please advise. |

RE: Version 10
Upgraded to V10, love it. The ability to move the slider box to the lappie screen means I got the full monitor real-estate for brushing. Great work, PP. Thank you. So far, it integrates with CS5 smoothly. Will report if ever run into problems. (not expecting any).

RE: Version 10
admin Wrote:Short answer: yes, Portrait Professional is compatible with 64 bit windows. And how about the Mac side of things? For the last several months I got an email regarding this 64-bit upgrade, and this contest, but you had to buy the 64-bit upgrade to enter the contest. Well, since you don't have a 64-bit upgrade for Mac, I felt rather left out. On that note, I just upgraded the Studio v10, but don't know if it's 32-bit or 64-bit - or are the Mac users going to have to wait for a 64-bit upgrade? The beauty of reality is that we are masters of its creation. |

RE: Version 10
We're just working on Studio 64 for the Mac at the moment, and hope to have it out in the next few weeks.

So does that mean I just paid for an upgrade (to v10 Studio), and in another few weeks am going to have to pay for another upgrade to v10 64-bit?? Just curious. The beauty of reality is that we are masters of its creation. |
