Crashing in pps 21.2?
#1
I have submitted a support ticket but thought i would ask here as well...

I have purchased PPS 12 and have upgraded to 12.2 and this on a freshly new created pc.

I am running:
windows 7 64bit version
Asus Z87 Sabertooth MOBO
Intel Core i7-4770k CPU @ 3.50Hz 3.50 GHz
32GB Corsair Vengeance RAM

The program opens, then i click the "Open Image" button, select an image (tried both JPG and NEF (Nikon RAW files) and the image starts opening and then crashes giving me this error:

Anyone else have this problem by chance or know what this is?

Thanks for any help you might give for a fellow photo editor as i have clients that are waiting for a job that i have to use this program on and now in limbo! Smile

If you have not already tried it, I would remove / uninstall the program. Then go to the email that gave you the url to download and reinstall. If you do not have access to the email, you can go to:

You should get a reply from someone on the trouble ticket side ASAP, but there may be a delay due to various holidays and the weekend is upon us.

Thanks Tebogan.

I tried uninstall and restart pc and re-install the program all to no avail.

Now, i went to try the plugin for Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom (V4.4) after i set it up from tutorials ad it worked?
So, then just out of curiosity, i tried the stand alone again and...it works!

Not sure but i guess there was corruption with the plugin not being used from last install or something?

Anyways, it seems to work now and will update my ticket, thanks and happy easter! Smile
